The West Virginia eviction is the process of a landlord seeking to re-possess their property after a tenant has either breached their lease agreement or the landlord has made intentions to cancel a month to month lease. If the tenant does not reply or communicate with the landlord or vacate when asked, the eviction filing with the County Court Clerk's Office may be filed. The landlord should follow the State Instructions and file the appropriate papers (Complaint & Summons) in order to obtain a Judgment. The tenant should know their Rights and Responsibilities during a lease and should follow-up on the Guide for Renters in an unlawful detainer case.
