Missouri 10 Day Notice to Comply or Quit | NonCompliance
The Missouri ten (10) day notice to comply or quit, in regards to Section 441.040, may be used when a tenant has committed some form of “curable” (i.e. fixable) lease violation. The notice provides the tenant with ten (10) days to either cure the violation(s) or vacate the rental unit. If the tenant fails to comply with the notice, the landlord can terminate the rental agreement and then file an eviction lawsuit. The notice must be served to the tenant personally, or left at the rental unit with a resident who is at least 15 years of age.

How to Write
Step 1 – Put the name(s) of the tenant(s) in the “TO:” field at the top of the notice.
Step 2 – Fill in the full address (street, city, county, ZIP code) of the rental unit, and then enter a detailed description of the lease violation(s).
Step 3 – Enter the date (day, month, year), and then sign/print your name. Put a contact/return address in the “Address:” section at the very bottom of the form.
